My name is Nicki.

I love to eat. I love to wander the aisles of my local farmer's market in wonder and awe. I love to bake, cook, preserve, and otherwise experiment with food.

I don't own a stand mixer, a food processor, a pressure canner, an ice cream maker or a dishwasher, so I truly have to be hands-on in the kitchen...but I feel like that's a good thing.

I love to take on projects that are way too complicated for me. I make a lot of mistakes, but I have fun doing it.

I live in Montreal, QC with my husband and my ever expanding collection of cookbooks.
